South Korea Mourns: Passenger Jet Crash Claims Over 170 Lives

A devastating jet crash at an airport in southwestern South Korea has left the nation in mourning. On Sunday, a passenger jet crash-landed on the runway, bursting into flames and claiming the lives of over 170 people.

The local fire service has confirmed that at least 177 people have lost their lives in the tragic incident. Out of the 181 people on board, only two remain unaccounted for, while two crew members were rescued alive from the wreckage.

This heart-wrenching disaster marks the deadliest aviation accident in South Korea since 1997, when a Korean Airlines Boeing 747 crashed in the Guam jungle, resulting in the loss of 228 lives. The recent tragedy has sent shockwaves across the nation, leaving families and loved ones to grieve the loss of their dear ones.
