The Cat Who Always Found His Way Home

A man couldn’t stand his wife’s cat. He found the furry little creature annoying, always underfoot, staring at him with those judgmental eyes. One day, he decided he’d had enough. He scooped up the cat, drove twenty blocks away, and left him in a park. Satisfied with his plan, he returned home—only to find the cat sitting on the driveway, licking its paw like nothing had happened.

The next day, he tried again, this time driving forty blocks away. He dropped the cat off, certain it wouldn’t find its way back. But as he pulled into his driveway, there it was, blinking up at him as if to say, “Nice try.”

Determined to outsmart the cat, he plotted an elaborate route—miles away, twisting through streets, crossing a bridge, taking random turns until he was completely lost himself. He left the cat there, convinced it would never return.

Hours later, he called his wife in frustration. “Jen, is the cat there?” She replied, “Yes, why?” Defeated, the man groaned, “Put that little troublemaker on the phone—I need directions home!”
