The Farmer and the Overachieving Rooster

A farmer decided it was time to bring in some new blood to his farm, so he bought a young, energetic rooster. The moment the rooster arrived, he got straight to work—impressively servicing all 150 hens in record time. The farmer was amazed.

By lunchtime, the rooster was at it again, mating with every single hen once more. The farmer started to grow concerned—this was more than just enthusiasm; it was extreme stamina. The next morning, things escalated even further. The rooster wasn’t just covering the hens anymore—he moved on to the turkeys, the ducks, and even the cow. The farmer could hardly believe his eyes.

Later that day, the farmer spotted the rooster lying motionless in the barnyard, limp as a rag, his eyes closed. Vultures circled ominously overhead. The farmer shook his head and muttered, “You had it coming, you horny little devil!”

Suddenly, the rooster cracked open one eye, lifted a wing to point at the vultures, and whispered, “Shhhh… they’re about to land.”
