One day, a blonde woman called her boyfriend in a panic. “Can you come over right away?” she asked. “I’m trying to put together this jigsaw puzzle, but I can’t even figure out where to start!”
Curious, her boyfriend asked, “What’s the puzzle supposed to be when it’s finished?”
“It’s a rooster,” she replied confidently. “At least, that’s what the picture on the box shows.”
Eager to help, the boyfriend rushed over. But when he arrived, he couldn’t help but laugh. Puzzle pieces were scattered everywhere—except they weren’t puzzle pieces at all.
With a knowing smile, he turned to his girlfriend. “Sweetheart, no matter how hard we try, these pieces will never look like a rooster,” he said gently. “And second, let’s not worry about it. How about we relax with some tea… and just put all these Corn Flakes back in the box?”
In another amusing twist, a teacher once asked her class to paint cows grazing in a meadow. Little Johnny finished almost immediately, proudly holding up a blank sheet of paper.
Confused, the teacher asked, “Johnny, where’s your painting?”
Johnny grinned. “Well, the cows ate all the grass, and when there was nothing left, they just wandered away!”
Sometimes, the simplest explanations are the funniest.
