The Dodgers’ bench is “caught off guard” when South Korean Netflix star Jeon Jong-seo throws the first pitch.

The Dodgers exhibition game on Sunday was an unexpected mix of sports and entertainment in South Korea, which is known for its beautiful scenery, rich culture, and now, a touch of Hollywood glitz.

As the crowd at the Gocheok Sky Dome got more excited, it was South Korean actress Jeon Jong-seo’s ceremonial first pitch that stole the show. The Dodgers’ bench couldn’t help but admire her skill.

The 29-year-old star, who is known for her parts in the Netflix movie Ballerina and the South Korean TV show Wedding Impossible, stepped up to the plate with ease and grace. People in the Dodgers’ bench couldn’t help but stop and enjoy the moment as she got ready to throw the ball towards home plate.

“The whole Dodgers dugout was ready to risk everything,” the sports X page Barstool Sports wrote on Twitter.

Another X user said, “Tyler Glasnow looks crazy about her.” A third wrote, “All of these guys better be single, or they will be when they get home.”

The Dodgers and the Kiwoom Heroes would play a thrilling game, which started with Jeon’s symbolic pitch. Freddie Freeman had a great game, and his team won 14–3. He hit a home run, among other things.

But that’s not the end of the fun. As the Dodgers get ready for the 2024 season, fans are excited for what looks like it will be a great year.

The Dodgers are ready to make a big splash on the field thanks to a strong lineup and some big summer additions, like two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani.

Ohtani just signed a huge 10-year, $700 million deal with the Dodgers. He adds a new level of skill and excitement to the team. The two-time AL MVP is ready to make his mark as the Dodgers’ designated hitter this season, even though he had surgery on his arm in September.

According to the New York Post, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was positive about Ohtani’s growth. He said, “We’ll see how that progression goes.” I know he won’t be pitching this year. Our only thought right now is on him being a designated bat.

With Ohtani joining the team and a group full of stars, the Dodgers are ready to take over the baseball world again. As they get ready to play their first game of the season against the Padres in South Korea, fans can’t wait for the exciting games and amazing moments that are to come.

From Hollywood stars to baseball stars, the Dodgers’ journey is sure to be nothing less than amazing. For the 2024 season, the Dodgers are ready to hit it out of the park. Okay, sports fans!
