A 25-year-old woman writes a sad post after her death: “If you’re reading this, I’ve already died.”

In a sad post shared on LinkedIn, a woman said she was going to die.

Daniella Thackray, 25, a people manager from Leeds, England, said some last words after a long battle with a rare form of cancer.

Cancer Research UK says that she died of cholangiocarcinoma, a type of cancer that grows in the bile ducts, which are small tubes that connect the liver, gallbladder, and small intestine. She wrote this in a pre-written message for her family, fiancé Tom, and dog Leo.

The young worker told the people she knew to “cherish every moment” and “enjoy the little things” in life.

Thackray, who worked at a digital marketing firm, started the post by saying, “If you’re reading this, it means I’ve died from my cancer battle and my family is posting my last message on my behalf.”

“First, I’d like to say that not all cancers are caused by the way people live their lives. Sometimes it’s genetics, and sometimes it just happens.” Even though I was very healthy and busy, cancer started in my bile ducts for no reason I could have avoided. After that, my life was never the same again.

Holangiocarcinoma is a rare, violent cancer that often has no clear cause and no cure. “I really, really hope that more research is done on this horrible, cruel disease in the years to come so that more lives can be saved,” she said. “So with that being said, although we can’t control what happens to us, we can control how we react.”

The woman who died also said, “Even though I was so devastated, I decided not to mourn the life I was losing,” but instead to “enjoy every moment I had left.” She also said, “Romanticize your life! No one should be able to take away your happiness. Do what makes you happy.

She said that even though she was having a terrible health fight, she “loved” her life and everything she had accomplished, especially her job, fiancé, family, friends, and dog. “Thank you all for making my life so wonderful.” “Remember that I told you to enjoy the little things,” she said.

She thanked her “fur baby” Leo for helping her “brighten my darkest days” and attached a black-and-white photo of the two of them on the beach to the post.

Winnie the Pooh’s very moving words were at the end of the message: “If there is ever a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember.” You’re smarter, braver, and stronger than you think. But the most important thing is that I’ll always be with you, even if we’re not together.

She wrote an ode to her boyfriend Tom and said, “I love you and always will.” Thanks for being there for me and giving me so much love and happiness. “Now go have fun, you deserve it.”

As of this writing, the late woman’s LinkedIn message had almost 40,000 likes, and many sad users had written sentiments in the comments section.

One person wrote, “In this realm of eternal peace, I send my deepest condolences to you and your family.” Even though the fight against cancer was lost, your bravery and strength live on in the heavens.

“May you find solace in the embrace of angels and the soothing melodies of celestial choir, knowing that your spirit remains cherished and your memory everlasting,” said the group.

Someone else said, “It’s amazing to see how many people your message has touched, how many times it has been reposted and reshared, and how your message is really storming the world, begging us to stop going through the motions and stop pausing.” I love you and your family, your fiancé, your dog, and all of your friends. Many people love you!!”

Another person said, “Thank you, Daniella. Your memory will live on, and your words will continue to give people strength and comfort.” Have a peaceful death, and know that your family and soul are still with them.

Right now, our thoughts are with Thackray’s family, fiancée, and friends.
