Rachel is a cashier at the Tennessee Celina 52 Truck Stop. On February 17, she gave birth to her son Cash Jamal Buckman. What made people notice, though, was that Rachel and her fiancé, Paul Buckman, are both white, while Cash looks like he is black.
The truck stop posted a picture of the happy family on Facebook and wished Rachel well with her new baby.

But instead of positive responses, the post got comments that called into question Cash’s fatherhood, with some saying that Paul might not be the real father.
Because of the rumors, Celina 52 Truck Stop changed their post and said, “Yes, Paul is the father.” Rachel has African American DNA, which can pass down from parent to child and make a child have darker skin.
They also said that Cash might have jaundice, which is typical in newborns, and ended the post with the words “Please be kind.”
Even after the truck stop gave an answer, questions and jokes kept going around online.

“Definitely needs a DNA test; what if they mixed up the kids in the nursery by accident?” said someone else.

“For the haters who say I don’t have black DNA, maybe this from my family DNA results will clear it up!!!! NOW STOP calling me and my fiancé Paul Buckman bad names. “He IS Lil Cash’s dad,” she wrote.
But the jokes kept going, and many of them made fun of the situation and called the test results into question.
