As if it weren’t already very clear, Keanu Reeves is a truly wonderful person.
You’ll have heard the stories and seen the videos unless you’ve been living under a rock. You’ll know that Reeves is a normal person who has never thought of himself as more important than being kind and compassionate, even though he is a megastar and makes millions of dollars.
It seems like every couple of months Reeves does something new that proves he’s the best example of an A-list celebrity who puts others before themselves and acts like they care about everyone.
While Reeves is best known for his work on hit movies, he has recently shown that he is also good at writing comic books. Together with Matt Kindt, he created and co-wrote the series BRZRKR, which was the best-selling single issue since Star Wars in 2015.
A nine-year-old fan of the show came up to Keanu at a recent book signing and told him that the Matrix star was his “favorite actor.” How did Keanu react?

There are probably not many days when you don’t run into someone who wants to take a picture with you or sign an autograph. Keanu Reeves’ spotlight is very bright.
We can guess that all of this must get old after a while—after all, having people always wanting a piece of you must wear you down—but you would never know it from seeing Keanu connect with his fans.
Over the years, the 58-year-old has shown many times how big his heart is and how much he cares. Like the time he was kind to a boy who was asking him a lot of questions quickly after a long trip. Or the time Sandra Bullock told everyone that he surprised her with champagne and chocolates after she told him she had never tried them before?
We could keep going. In any case, Keanu Reeves is a really nice person, so it shouldn’t be a wonder that he’s back on the internet after talking to a nine-year-old fan.
There are stories that the boy went up to Reeves at a book signing and told him, “I’m such a big fan!”
IGN posted video of Reeves asking the boy his name. When the nine-year-old says “Noah,” Keanu also describes himself, as if that were necessary.
“I believe you are the best actor in the whole world!” In the video, Noah says.
After that, Keanu can be seen with a huge smile on his face. He says, “Oh my gosh, Noah, thank you!”
The 58-year-old actor then asked his young fan a quick question: had he seen Duke Caboom? Reeves played Duke Caboom in Toy Story 4.
Oh, he’s my favorite figure, of course! Noah answers.
Not only is Keanu polite in these situations, but his excitement also shines through. Fans were quick to point out that the John Wick star always seems to be as happy to talk to other people as they are to talk to him.
Many people say that you should never meet your heroes, but we think that Keanu is an exception to that rule.
