Aside from being close with his kids, Phil and Marlo’s long marriage is due to the fact that they trust each other. Marlo says, “You trust someone when you know they have your back all the time.”

Phil goes on to say that both people in a marriage must want it to last for it to work. Even Marlo agrees with him. She says that she would never want things to be any other way than as a married woman. After that, she says Donohue has helped her “in every way possible.”
