This made it possible for Ben to quit making fun comics as a hobby and start working full-time at his dream job. Today, the artist always comes up with new fun adventures for Pixie and Brutus, and it seems like the animals are always getting into trouble…

With 2.5 million fans, Ben’s Pet Foolery Instagram page has an amazing following, especially since the artist didn’t mean for it to become a series at first. Pixie and Brutus now have a lot of fans online, and Ben has to make sure that his cartoon series is just as useful and interesting now as it was when he first put it out.
But that doesn’t mean it’s easy for him to come up with new ideas for his ongoing comic book series. It’s getting harder and harder for me to come up with new ideas and jokes for animal comics with regular characters and a story that goes on (like Pixie and Brutus). He told us this in an interview.
