After years of fighting over his reputation with his ex-wife Amber Heard, Johnny Depp shone in his comeback part.
After his return, the actor did an interview where he talked about how he felt.
There was a 7-minute standing applause, and Depp tried not to cry. Fans were shocked to see that he had “literally rotten” teeth.
Because he was in court with his ex-wife Amber Heard for a long time, Johnny Depp was in a lot of trouble.
Heard accused Depp of abuse in the well-known defamation trial, but the judges found in Depp’s favour.

After working hard to get his image back, the actor made a comeback when he was praised for his part in a movie at the Cannes Film Festival premiere.
Going to the festival was Depp’s first public showing since his court case with Heard ended in 2022.
At the beginning of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival in Paris, France, Depp got a 7-minute standing applause.
King Louis XV was played by the actor in the biology drama “Jeanne Du Bary.” As the crowd gave him a standing ovation, Depp looked shocked and tried not to cry, but he did wave to the people on the balcony.
People were also nice to the star of “Black Mass” when he got to Cannes. A huge group of fans, carrying signs outside the Palais, tried to touch their hero.
Depp was outside for five minutes before walking the red carpet, where many fans were able to touch him.

Depp got his first big acting part since the end of his lawsuit against Heard in the movie “Jeanne Du Bary.”
Even though the jury found Depp not guilty of abuse, he has stayed out of Hollywood since Heard accused him of it.
Maëwenn plays Jeanne Vaubernier in this new movie. Plus, Maïwenn is in charge of making and directing the movie. In the 18th century, Vaubernier was a working-class woman who worked her way up to become King Louis XV’s companion.
Vaubernier was socially outcast because she came from a working-class background, even though she was in love with the king. Being in the king’s court made him not want her. The movie also has Pascal Greggory, Benjamin Lavernhe, Melvil Poupaud, and Pierre Richard in leading roles.
In an interview at the Cannes Film Festival, Depp also said that the public court case he had with Heard would not define him.
Even though Depp got good reviews at the festival, Heard’s friends criticised the people in charge of it for bringing him.

Thierry Fremaux, the head of the festival, said he didn’t know anything about Depp’s image in the U.S. Fremaux said he was just breaking the law:
This includes the freedom to think, speak, and act within the limits of the law. We wouldn’t be talking about it here if Johnny Depp had been banned from playing in a movie or if the movie itself had been banned.

According to Fremaux, Maïwenn should be questioned since she picked Depp for the role. Plus, he said he wasn’t qualified to talk about Depp’s legal fight with Heard:
If there’s anyone in the world who wasn’t interested in this highly publicised hearing, it was me. It appears to be about nothing. Additionally, I care about Johnny Depp as an actress.
Along with the support and criticism from Heard’s friends, Depp was also the subject of online debates because of the way he looks.
Online fans who saw Depp’s picture from the event were disgusted by his teeth and said they looked “literally rotting.” When a fan saw pictures of Depp’s decaying teeth, she said, “Oh dear lord!”
One fan once said that Depp looked “homeless,” which is another time when fans have said something about his looks.
On the red carpet at the event this time, the actor looked great, but fans were more interested in his teeth, and one person said,
“Johnny Depp’s new movie, #JeanneDuBarry, gets a F rating from critics with a score of 51.” Right now, the score is as dull as his teeth. Best of luck!”
Users were upset by the pictures of Depp’s teeth. One person said he didn’t want to see them because he had already seen all of the pictures against his will. Another fan said Depp’s teeth looked like they had been painted black.

Someone online spoke up for the star and said, “He makes too much money to have teeth like that.” He might be making another pirate movie, haha. Someone else said that Depp’s teeth looked like designs on cigarette packs. The following person said:

One more person said that seeing pictures of the actor’s teeth made them feel bad. More people said that Depp’s teeth made him look bad:

People on the internet said they should start a petition to ask the actor to see a doctor about his teeth. Someone else said, “He should make an appointment for those veneers because of the way his teeth look.”

More people spoke out in support of Depp, saying that artists were real people and should be able to look ugly because that’s part of being realistic and interesting in real life.

People shouldn’t judge the “City of Lies” character because he was in court cases. Because of the lawsuit with Heard, the actor lost a lot of jobs, including his part in the “Fantastic Beats” franchise.
But the actor’s movie career doesn’t seem to be in danger because he was already in a big movie. he said:
“It’s strange to come back because…” I failed to go somewhere. For whatever reason, strong press and media may have made sure that I wasn’t looked at well.
He also told the people who are judging him to spend time with their families and take the day off to judge the people who are close to them.
He told them to find old pictures of their fathers, uncles, and brothers and decide if they were always good people:
“Take a look around you before you judge someone because you don’t know what they’ve been through or who they are.”
After a while of not being seen by many people, Depp seemed happy at the Cannes Film Festival as he talked to fans, took selfies with them, and signed their autographs.
