As far as Behar was concerned, the most current version of Beyoncé’s “Jolene” was better. This comment has started a heated argument that keeps getting people’s attention.
As someone who is known for speaking her mind, Joy Behar made sure to tell the show’s producer that she liked Beyoncé’s version of “Jolene.” Behar says that Dolly Parton’s version of the song shows loneliness and possessiveness because Parton begs the woman not to steal her man.
Behar says this attitude is against feminism because it makes women think that women should worry that their men will cheat on them with another woman. She thinks it takes away from women’s power.
