Even though it’s been 19 years since the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, which killed about 3,000 people, we still remember it like it was yesterday.
9/11 stands for sadness and loss, but it also shows how patriotic our people are. That day, everyone stood together against those who were bad for the country and its people. The deaths were felt by everyone, and Americans could relate to what they were going through.
During those tough times, an ad for the American brand Budweiser moved a lot of people. It makes everyone cry, even the hardest ones.
The ad shows the Clydesdales, the company’s famous horses, walking through New York City. After going by the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge, they stop in the park to look up at the city.
When they finally get to the spot where the Twin Towers used to be, they bow their heads in honor.
They tell people to “never forget” and “never let that happen again.”
The ad didn’t come on again until 10 years after the attack. The VP of marketing at Anheuser-Busch, Paul Chibe, said in a statement, “We feel our 9/11 Clydesdales tribute ad is very special.” “We were proud to show the ad again on Sunday, the 10th anniversary, to help get the word out about the National September 11 Memorial & Museum’s fundraising campaign.” The ad’s small changes were meant to show how time has passed and, most importantly, that we should never forget the people who died and were hurt on 9/11.
