Even though the UK’s drinking age is 18, it is still against the law to bring booze to school events where kids might be present.
Even so, some students still try to find ways to get around the rule so they can drink a few drinks before they hit the dance floor.
Chaperones at proms are usually taught how to keep things calm and spot signs of drunkenness so they can step in.
Students do, however, sometimes come up with creative ways to sneak drinking drinks into class.

Actually, she took a very big silver flask and made it look like her clutch bag!
You might think that the silver clutch she’s carrying is her only item at first glance, but if you look more closely, you’ll see that it’s actually a lot more than that!
A girl from Britain named Eleanor Clarke was not going to let any law stop her from having fun with her friends.
It looked like a metallic clutch bag was on her, and she was wearing a beautiful outfit.
But the big flask that was hidden inside the clutch bag was quickly found.
She didn’t buy a real bag because she knew she would mostly use it to carry drinks.
Although Eleanor was surprised that she had done it, she didn’t say if she had put alcohol in the clutch or not. It’s still a mystery to her how she got away with carrying a huge hip flask as her prom bag, she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Tiger is said to be where she got the $12 flask.
A clever trick she used to hide it meant that no one knew about her plan until she revealed it herself.
