Think about how exciting it would be to graduate from college and have Jerry Seinfeld talk at your ceremony. A lot of Duke graduates thought it was an amazing moment. Still, some people left during his speech because he is a Jewish comic. It’s funny that they missed a chance to hear a popular actor criticize left-wing, politically correct nonsense at this protest.
Most of the kids were cheering for Seinfeld. A lot of people thought that leaving such an event would be rude and silly. Honor your college and fellow graduates, even if you don’t think he’s funny. Everyone, not just the protesters, should be happy about graduation.
The protesters not only ruined their own experience, but they also made the event less enjoyable for other people. They didn’t like the speaker, I guess. They had worked hard for years, so the very least they could do was stay for an hour and help make the event special for everyone.
