Most of the time, we can’t get enough of this country star and her ex-husband who used to play hockey together.
When Fisher is with his wife at the CMT Music Awards, you can always count on seeing them together with pride. In 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019, the former star player for the Nashville Predators went on the show with Underwood.
After that, the epidemic temporarily changed how award shows worked, but Fisher was back with his wonderful wife in 2022.
But Fisher wasn’t in Austin, Texas, on April 2, 2023, when the 2023 CMT Awards took place. What’s the deal?

The “Hate My Heart” singer told reporters on the red carpet that her husband was actually on dad duty for the night when they asked where he was.
“My husband is in charge of the kids.” He usually holds down the fort while I do things like this. She even called out to her three boys at home, making it sound like they were watching her. Oh no!
In particular, the former hockey star probably wasn’t able to attend the 2023 award show as easily as he had in the past. Recently, the CMTs have been held in Nashville, which is where country music began.

But Underwood looked like she was enjoying her time away from her sons in Texas. She looked stunning in a diamond two-piece that would put her on all Best Dressed lists.

That makes sense, since Fisher wants to have a child. They talked about how excited Isaiah was to be a dad before Isaiah was born in 2015.
