Rick Harrison breaks silence after son’s sudden death at 39 – confirms the tragic truth

Rick Harrison, widely recognized as the charismatic face of Pawn Stars, has broken his silence following the tragic passing of his son, Adam, at the age of 39.

Heartbreaking reports surfaced recently confirming Adam Harrison’s death due to a suspected drug overdose, with his father revealing that fentanyl was the culprit.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Rick Harrison emphasized the urgency of addressing the fentanyl crisis gripping the nation. He lamented the influx of fentanyl across borders and urged for more decisive action to combat this epidemic.

Initial details surrounding Adam’s death, including the time and location of the overdose, remain undisclosed as the Las Vegas Metro Police Department launches an investigation.

Representatives for the Harrison family, including Laura Herlovich, issued a statement requesting privacy as they mourn Adam’s untimely loss.

Adam, Rick Harrison’s second child from his first marriage, was the younger brother of Corey Harrison, his sibling from the same union. Rick later remarried Tracy, with whom he shares another son named Jake.

Though Adam did not appear on Pawn Stars, he reportedly worked at the family’s business, Gold & Silver Pawn, before the show’s inception in 2009. However, his involvement in the pawn shop had diminished in recent years.

Following the news of Adam’s tragic overdose, Rick took to Instagram to share a touching tribute, accompanied by a photo capturing a cherished moment between father and son.

The CDC’s sobering statistics reveal a staggering 56.6% increase in overdose deaths involving synthetic opioids from January 2020 to 2021.

Fentanyl, classified as a Schedule II controlled substance by the DEA, is noted for its potency, with just two milligrams posing a lethal threat, depending on an individual’s body size.

In memory of Adam Harrison, we extend our deepest condolences to Rick and the entire family during this difficult time.
