When you spot a vanity license plate, it’s hard not to react. These drivers are determined to make a statement with their unique plate, rather than sticking with the random letters and numbers like the rest of us. It’s like they’re shouting, “Look at me, everyone!”
Sometimes, it’s worth it. While some plates boast about wealth or try (and often fail) to be humorous, others use this small space for creativity, making us laugh or think. And let’s face it, any form of roadside entertainment is appreciated during a long car journey.
Despite efforts by the DMV and other authorities to maintain a certain decorum and curb overly creative plates, some people still find ways to get their clever messages approved.
