We’ve all felt the urge to refresh our look at some point. For Rosa Ramirez, a woman from the United States, that moment came after 25 years of growing her hair to an astonishing 1.5 meters long.
Despite her husband’s gentle nudges to change her hairstyle, Rosa was proud of her locks and occasionally even walked on them due to their length.
However, after a quarter-century of dedication, Rosa decided it was time for a change. She visited a hair salon with friends and opted for a shoulder-length cut.
But this transformation was more than just a new look – it was a selfless act. Rosa donated 4 feet of her hair to Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization that creates wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer.
