Man bitten on balls by python while he was sitting on toilet

For most, a short break at work means relaxation, but for Thanat Thangtewanon, it became a nightmare. While using the toilet, he felt intense pain in his testicles, only to discover a large python biting him.

In a horrifying moment, Thanat reached into the toilet to investigate and grabbed the snake, which was later revealed to be a 12-foot reticulated python. He quickly used a toilet brush to defend himself, and the snake eventually released its grip.

Rushed to the hospital, Thanat received a tetanus shot and stitches for his injuries. Fortunately, the snake was not venomous, and he survived the ordeal. However, the experience left him shaken, and he now checks the toilet thoroughly before use.

This incident is not an isolated one, as there have been previous cases of pythons attacking humans in similar situations. In 2016, Attaporn Boonmakchuay suffered a similar fate but sadly died from blood loss.

The reticulated python is common in Southeast Asia and Thailand, often found in urban areas, forests, swamps, and canals. While encounters with humans are rare, Thanat’s story serves as a cautionary tale about the unexpected dangers that can lurk in everyday life.
