Jennifer Lopez is officially ending her marriage to Ben Affleck after two years together. She plans to file for divorce on August 20, 2024, which marks their second wedding anniversary. The couple had already separated months before, with their official split date being April 26, 2024.
According to those close to Lopez, she patiently hoped that Affleck would make efforts to mend their relationship, but ultimately, she felt “heartbroken” and decided it was time to move on. Her main focus now is on her 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, as she begins to rebuild her life.
Lopez and Affleck, who has three children from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner, spent much of the summer apart. Their separation comes two years after they exchanged vows in a Las Vegas ceremony followed by a larger celebration in Georgia.
